It is important to us that you have a great travel experience. We have prepared the following information to help you prepare for your participation in the Indiana All-Star Band 2008 Europe Spectacular; please read it carefully.
You will receive your final documents approximately two weeks prior to your departure. These documents generally include a document folder, airline confirmation, daily itinerary, luggage tags, packing tips, U. S. Customs regulations, Weissmann Destination Reports and Maps.
A valid passport is required for international travel. Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your U.S. re-entry date. If you are not a U. S. Citizen, contact Menno Travel Service immediately for further information about required documentation. Passport applications and pictures are available at Menno Travel Service.
Minor children traveling with only one parent or without either parent should have notarized written permission from the non-traveling parent(s). The letter must state that the child has permission to travel with the named party and that this person may make any necessary decisions, including emergency medical attention, on behalf of the child. This is a requirement for international travel; minors will be denied boarding without this document. Although not required for domestic travel, Menno Travel Service recommends this document be carried for all travel involving minor children.
Menno Travel Service highly recommends purchasing an optional Vacation Protection Plan. Depending on the specific plan chosen, it may provide coverage for trip cancellation or interruption (for covered reasons), emergency medical or dental coverage, lost or damaged baggage, etc. The rates for the plan are based on each passenger’s age and cost of the trip. Payment for the plan is recommended at the time of initial trip deposit in order to waive pre-existing conditions. Please contact the Group Department at Menno Travel Service for more information.
