PAYMENT POLICY
The $1,000.00 per person deposit is due with the completed tour reservation form on or before December 15, 2008. Optional TravelSafe Comprehensive Travel Insurance must be received by Tara Nisley within 15 days of the initial $1,000.00 land deposit in order to be covered for pre-existing conditions - please contact Tara Nisley for rates and coverage details. The final land balance is due on or before May 11, 2009.
REFUND POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Menno Travel Service. Cancellations received on or before March 23, 2009 will receive a refund less a $400.00 per person penalty. Cancellations received March 24 - May 11, 2009 will receive a refund less a $1,200.00 per person penalty. Cancellations received on or after May 12, 2009 are considered non-refundable.
Optional Travel Insurance:
Menno Travel Service highly recommends purchasing the optional TravelSafe Comprehensive Travel Insurance. Cancellations must be due to covered reasons, based on the guidelines as set forth by TravelSafe Insurance. Please contact Tara Nisley for rates and coverage details. Menno Travel Service also highly recommends that you consult with your medical insurance company prior to traveling abroad to confirm and understand whether your policy applies to overseas travel and whether it will cover emergency expenses such as medical evacuation and care.
Assembly Gathered Reservation Form:
Menno Travel Service is asking that you forward your completed form and payment for the Assembly Gathered (please refer to the registration form for payment options to MWC Paraguay 2009) to Tara Nisley either by mail or by completing the form online and then emailing the saved document to Tara; she will then forward it to MWC on your behalf. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact Tara Nisley.

Itaipu Dam
Passport and Visa Requirements:
A valid U.S. Passport is required to travel to Paraguay and Brazil. Your passport must be valid at least six (6) months after the return date of the tour. Travel to both Paraguay and Brazil require that you have a valid visa to enter each country. Although your visas are not included in the cost of the tour, Menno Travel Service is happy to assist you with obtaining each visa. Names as listed on your reservation form must match your valid U.S Passport.
Vaccination Requirements and Health Precautions:
Please visit CDC website for complete and updated vaccination requirements and recommendations, along with other health precautions. Note: You will want to provide your health-care provider with your tour itinerary to determine what you will need, depending on factors such as your health and immunization history, areas of the country you will be visiting and planned activities. You should plan to visit your health-care provider at least 4-6 weeks before your trip to allow time for your vaccine(s) to take effect and to start taking medicine to prevent malaria, if you need it. Your health-care provider will provide you with complete details about how to protect yourself from illness and injury while traveling.
Responsibility:
Menno Travel Service acts only as an agent for travel arrangements and cannot be held responsible for missed connections by carriers, delays, loss, injury or damage to person or property, for substitutions of hotels or carriers, or other expenses incurred. Menno Travel Service reserves the right to make necessary changes to each tour in order to operate the tour safely and properly. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or to retain any person as a member of the tour at any time. Menno Travel Service reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time with no responsibility beyond the refund of all monies paid by the participant.
