Management

geofGeof Landis, co-manager of Menno Travel with his wife, Liz Gunden, has been with the company since 1982 and is President and Chief Executive Officer. He is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) and began his career as a travel counselor in the vacation department. He is responsible for sales and support of corporate accounts. Geof is President of the Goshen Youth Soccer Organization, a member of Goshen Rotary and is active in his church and other community organizations.   Email Geof

Liz Gunden, co-manager of Menno Travel with husband Geof Landis, joined the company in 2015 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer.  Liz’s previous work experience included healthcare executive and management positions in the Goshen area.  She also served as an adjunct professor in the nursing adult education programs at Goshen College.  Most recently she was the administrative director of a local birth center.  Liz is responsible for the daily operations as well as the marketing functions.  Liz serves on the board of several local not-for-profit organizations, professional organizations and is active in her church.

Vacation/Leisure

ericaErica Davidhizar started her career in the travel industry in 2010. She worked as the receptionist in the sales assistant center and in the groups and incentive department. In 2018 she became a vacation travel advisor. She is a Certified Sandals Specialist and a Destination Specialist for Hawaii, Caribbean and Mexico. She has also completed the cruise courses for Celebrity Cruise, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean. Her favorite vacation destination was going to Punta Cana and a Baja Mexico cruise.

Rebecca Gehrke started her travel career with Destinations Travel in 2003 and joined Menno Travel in December 2011. Rebecca specializes in travel to Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean and enjoys planning any type of vacation. She has traveled to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe and several Caribbean Cruises. Kami Heckaman Found her way to the travel industry after realizing that she wanted a career that combined helping others and her love of travel. She attended travel school to augment her journalism degree in the late 80’s and joined Menno Travel in 1996. Kami has traveled to many places, but Montreal, Alaska with its raw beauty, and the French quaintness of Quebec City top off her list of favorite North American destination. International favorites include St. Lucia,  Jamaica, France and Switzerland. Every trip is unique and tailored to each person and situation. Kami particularly enjoys planning honeymoons, vacations for families, and arranging global vacations with complex itineraries.   Email Kami
 
triciaTricia Irvin graduated from Indiana Travel Academy in 1998 and began her career in travel, planning vacations. She joined Menno Travel in 2005 and is as Certified Sandals Specialist and a Destination Specialist for Las Vegas. She has completed the cruise courses for Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbean. She particularly enjoys planning honeymoons, cruises and family get-a-ways, including Disney vacations. She particularly enjoyed her river cruise down the Danube, several trips to Hawaii, and Punta Cana.  However, her favorite destination is Aruba.  Email Tricia
maggieMaggie Lewallen has been a travel advisor with Menno Travel since 1993. She is a Certified Travel Associate, Accredited Cruise Counselor, Certified Sandals Specialist, Hawaii Specialist and a Destination Specialist for the Caribbean, Pacific Rim and Western Europe.  Maggie specializes in trips to Europe, River Cruising, Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Alaska, Australia and Africa.  Some of her favorite trips include Italy, Ireland, Alaska, Hawaii and a River Cruise in France.  She enjoys planning any type of vacation including customizing travel to meet your needs.  Email Maggie

Sondra Pressler started her travel career in 1998 and came to Menno Travel in 2004. She has a college degree in Travel and Hospitality Management and is a Destination Specialist for Hawaii, Alaska, the Caribbean, and Mexico. She is a Certified Sandals Specialist and has completed several cruise specialist classes and enjoys planning any type of vacation. Lindsay Rheinheimer graduated from Goshen College with a degree in Elementary Education and a license in Special Education. She taught both in Goshen, IN, and in Costa Rica. Her first real taste of overseas travel was in high school when her family took a trip to Indonesia to visit some friends. Since then she has had the opportunity to teach (and travel) in Costa Rica, travel with Hesston College’s European Chorale to the Baltic countries (along with Norway and the Netherlands) and Goshen College’s SST Program to the Dominican Republic. She has also enjoyed other trips to the Philippines, Bali, Spain, Zimbabwe, Ecuador, Nicaragua and Mexico. Chris Stuck is a graduate of Indiana University South Bend with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. An avid researcher with extensive customer service experience, Chris enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of the vacation planning process. Chris has helped clients plan a variety of vacation experiences, including trips to the Caribbean and Mexico, Costa Rica, Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. Specializing in constructing custom itineraries involving traditional destination highlights, immersive cultural experiences in less-traveled areas, and everything in between, Chris enjoys connecting clients to the travel experiences they desire.   Email Chris

jillJill Mann started her career in 1992, joining Menno Travel in 1997.  Her expertise as a business travel manager includes her superb handling of complicated airline ticket exchanges.  Her wealth of knowledge has made Jill the “go to” person in the corporate travel department for complex problem solving & general leadership. She is the backbone of the corporate travel department.    Jill has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean to locations such as Belize, Mexico, and Bonaire in search of pristine scuba diving locations.   Her all-around favorite travel location is the Hawaiian Islands.   Email Jill
deeDee Miller has been in the travel industry since 1995 and joined Menno Travel in 2001. She graduated from Davenport College with a concentration in Travel & Tourism and handles corporate accounts as well as complicated international itineraries.  Dee’s travel experience includes trips to Ethiopia, Mexico, France, Israel, Turkey and many Caribbean cruises.    Email Dee
Pete Myers graduated from Manchester University where he studied Business Management and Sales, as well as played football for the Spartans. Pete is the business account contact for Menno’s relationships with various corporate accounts. He is also responsible for creating the newsletter, assisting with reporting, daily finance, and acquiring new corporate accounts. Pete enjoys vacationing anywhere with a warm beach and also hopes to attend a football game in every professional stadium.   Email Pete
Kim Wright handles corporate travel and meeting groups.  Kim started her career in 1986 and began working at Menno Travel in 2014. She has an extensive background that began with corporate and sports travel, specializing in motorsports teams and event logistics.   She has also initialized group travel to sporting events such as the Superbowl, Final Four, Indy 500 and Ryder Cup. Most recently Kim worked for a large national retailer, managing everything within their corporate travel department. Her favorite current travel destination is London, and she is a Marriott specialist.   Email Kim
ronRon Yoder joined Menno Travel in 1982 and is skilled at handling complicated international travel, consolidator and bulk fares. Since 2006, Ron works remotely from his home in Texas. He has extensive travel experience to destinations such as Togo, Malaysia, Honduras, Bolivia, Europe and England.

Group/Incentive

 rondaRonda Morris is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) and former owner of Destinations Travel Service. She joined our staff in January 2012 working with groups, including corporate incentive travel. In June 2014, Ronda moved to our Corporate Travel Department, handling individual travel for our corporate accounts. Ronda began her travel career in 1983 in Warsaw at Warsaw Travel.  She has traveled to many parts of the world including the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, Europe & Canada.   Email Ronda

Liana Oswalt  is a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). She joined Menno Travel in 2016 working with groups, including corporate incentive travel. Prior to joining Menno, she worked 19 years for a Fortune 500 chemical company based in Dallas, Texas, and was responsible for all aspects of their global corporate meetings and events. She has extensive experience in logistics planning, communication, onsite operation and management. She has traveled to many parts of the world including Dominican Republic, Mexico, China, Hungary, The Netherlands, Germany, England, Scotland, Canada and Hawaii.  Email Liana

Maureen Russell joined Menno Travel in 1998 and is a Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) and an Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC).  She plans and organizes Corporate Incentive Travel, working with domestic and international land programs, including all-inclusive packages and cruises. She has extensive experience in handling groups ranging from 20 to 400 participants. Maureen has traveled to many destinations including Paris, Hawaii, the Dominican Republic, Mexico and numerous cruises to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.  Email Maureen

Accounting

sueSue Moneyheffer has been with Menno Travel since 2006 and is Chief Financial Officer. She has extensive experience in public accounting and handles the company’s financial reporting as well as the payroll and employee benefits for the employees and numerous independent travel advisors. Support

 Kimberly De Vincent works in our Sales Assistance Center (SAC) answering phones and directing walk-in clients. She also handles shipping, office supplies ordering and document processing. Kimberly has traveled to multiple major cities across the United States, Kauai being one of her favorite vacation spots. She hopes to travel internationally, visiting places such as Bari, Italy, and China. Email Kimberly

Technology

kendalKendal Sommers joined Menno Travel in 1994 as a corporate travel advisor. As Chief Information Officer, Kendal is responsible for all technology in our office including the airline reservation system and QC software. In addition, he manages staff training relating to all automation systems.  Kendal’s travels have taken him to England, Hawaii, Canada, Costa Rica, Guadeloupe, Dominican Republic and India.  Email Kendal
